Finally, do some tests to see how well your kidneys are working.

- Urinalysis: Through detecting the amount of protein, red blood cells and some other substances in the urine, urinalysis can help kidney patients determine whether their kidneys are damaged. Also, it can test patients’ urine output within 24 hours.

- Blood test: The level of creatinine and urea in the blood are reliable indicators for kidney function level. You can get the answer from blood test.
